An apartment developer based in Ohio is adding to its Charlotte-area portfolio. Redwood Living Inc., which develops and manages single-story apartment communities, announced yesterday it would soon open three new projects in the Charlotte region. The communities total 268 units at sites in Charlotte, Kannapolis and Troutman. Each community is expected to be ready for move-in by April and consists of two-bedroom floor plans between 1,294 and 1,709 square feet. The first community, named Redwood Charlotte Harris Houston Road, is at 5110 Red Alder Lane near PNC Music Pavilion and University City.
