KANNAPOLIS – The Kannapolis Police Department recently promoted two members of the department. Wesley Wilson has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant and Lauren Hardin has been promoted to Telecommunicator Shift Supervisor. Sergeant Wilson joined the Kannapolis Police Department in 2015 as a patrol officer and Lauren joined the Kannapolis Police Department in 2019 as a telecommunicator. Both are natives of the area.
