The Color Guard from the Kannapolis Fire Department marched with the American flag and North Carolina flag. Ryan Dayvault drove a vintage patrol car in the parade. The parade lit up downtown Kannapolis. At times, it even looked like it was snowing. The streets were lined with people soaking up the Christmas spirit. Santa Claus took part in the parade, too. The weather was cool but spirits were high as children watched the colorful floats and entries. A.L. Brown's championship-winning cheerleaders took part in the parade and brought plenty of Christmas spirit.
